AI-assisted Movie Recommendation App: Pixly
Pixly is an AI-assisted movie recommendation app which I built and operated as a learning project. Numpy and Cython libraries were used to optimize extensive multi-threaded computations on the Django backend. The app used MySQL as a database with Redis support. I used React on the frontend, and statically generated certain pages. As part of the project, I built and used an atomic design system with CSS and styled-components.
